Tata Naka AW11

PLEATS please.

Felicity Brown

As pleats are 'in fashion' at the moment and I'm looking at the concept of folding, I really felt that it would work well within my collection. I'm currently in the process of sending some samples out to a company that specialise in pleating as I feel to get good quality, it is always best to let the professional do such a delicate process. I'm really enjoying the accordion pleat and also the crystal pleat!

ASOS MARKETPLACE...

So I came across this today and thought what a perfect way to make money for the fashion show and revamping my wardrobe! Basically like a vintage charity shop but online and for people that love fashion, perfect! I'm getting started now with setting up my account :)

Old Patterns from Vogue =)

I found these yesterday in The British Heart Foundation Charity shop in my local town. I think they are so cool and they look kind of 80's. I think it is interesting working with other traditional shapes other than the blocks at my university and it gives you more variety of pieces you can change. I love the Jacket and the Jacket dress, it screams 80's! Vogue classic patterns are a must have and I'm so happy to find them! Charity shopping all the way for fashion inspiration!

Danielle Scutt for Topshop SS10

I have to say after seeing this collection for ss I am very excited for summer this year. Danielle uses lots of colour and print to make it very girly and chic. On tuesday we actually had the privilege of having here take a tutorial with us to talk about her work and look at all of our collections.
