Well I got some positive feedback today and my tutors feel as if I'm progressing a lot in relation to my concept. Although I need to toile more on the stand to transform my 2d into 3d to create a more realistic approach to my work. I'm happy with what I have been told but I feel I could have produced more than I submitted. Today I have been working on the designs for my prints, I printing my images onto accetate ready to screen print onto fabric on thursday. I'm excited to see what outcomes I get with the prints, I'll also experiment onto different textured/coloured fabrics to see what works the best.
This evening I have been working in photoshop with the shapes I have produced from my origami folding with paper. I have used a silhouettes from Simone Shailes collections and photoshoped my designs repetively onto each figure. As shown below I think they have been quite successful but can be developed further. I have thoroughly enjoyed working on photoshop, and as I have been enjoying it so much I'm going to buy a graphics tablet to help whist editing. I've been looking online and seeing as most of the reviews say Wacom is the best, I've decided I will probably purchase the Bamboo Wacom...but I'll have a look on the weekend.
Well I think it's time to relax now so I'll be back soon! xx
